Newbury will host a season-opening three-day meeting - details of the cards are below.  The meeting will begin on Thursday, 11 June with an afternoon fixture shown on Racing TV.  This will be followed by an evening card on Friday, 12 June which will be broadcast on ITV4, with coverage that will include the Group 1 Irish 1,000 Guineas from the Curragh.

The three days conclude with an afternoon meeting on Saturday, 13 June which will also be covered by ITV4 and will include the transferred Group 3 Diomed Stakes from Epsom, plus two Listed contests - the Maggie Dickson transferred from Musselburgh and Newbury’s own Abingdon Stakes.

The three days have been made possible by MansionBet who take title sponsorship across all three days, and the European Breeders Fund (EBF) who have contributed to additional prize money.

Julian Thick is Newbury Racecourse's Chief Executive: “We are delighted to be back racing here at Newbury this week and are incredibly grateful for the help and support we have received from stakeholders across the industry to get racing back in a safe environment. Key to the restart is the backing of our sponsors, and so we thank MansionBet and the European Breeders Fund for their support across the three days."

“While we cannot yet welcome any owners, we would like to thank them for running their horses and for their ongoing support of Newbury Racecourse and we hope it won’t be too long before we can open our doors to them as well as all our customers.

“Our team has been working tirelessly to ensure the racecourse is a safe place for all those involved in delivering the three days and the track is looking fantastic.”

Dana Bocker is Head of Integrated Marketing at MansionBet: “Our commitment to horseracing is important to us and we are delighted to be supporting Newbury’s opening fixtures this weekend. We’re excited to see live horseracing back on our screens again and are looking forward to engaging with our customers over the weekend’s racing.”
