Barbury launches business club to reach Wiltshire enterprises

Barbury: international eventing stars - and for 2017 added business opportunities

Barbury International Horse Trials, now in its twenty-first year, has launched a new business club, designed to make the event appealing to small and medium-sized businesses in Wiltshire and along the M4 corridor.  The 2017 trials run from Thursday, July 6 to Sunday, July 9.

The Horse Trials is already a significant hospitality destination, due to the support of title sponsor St James’s Place Wealth Management, who are based in Cirencester.

The introduction of a business networking group affords a low cost private entertainment solution for small and medium-sized enterprises within the Thames Valley and the area surrounding the Marlborough Downs and Swindon.

Membership will be limited to 100 businesses, and comprises four admissions to the Friday of the Horse Trials, with reserved parking, official programme and chef’s buffet lunch in an exclusive lounge area overlooking the cross country.

Membership will cost £195+VAT - less than £50 a head.

“We want to reach out to businesses in Swindon and along the M4,” explains Peter McNeile for Barbury.  “Barbury has grown organically over many years, and now needs to make itself relevant to all businesses that need to reward and retain customers."

"What better way than through watching world class equestrianism in the delightful surroundings of the Barbury Estate. Just 15 minutes from the M4, you can be in another world, yet a stone’s throw from business connections all the way to London.”

You can enter a competition to win membership of this unique and innovative Business Club - and much more besides with a prize worth £1,700.

Marlborough.news has teamed up with Barbury International Horse Trials to run this competition.  The prize of membership to the Business Club includes entry for four guests on Friday, July 7 - as well as naming and branding rights to a fence on the cross-country course and a page advertisement in the official programme. Fences are jumped throughout three days of competition and receive commentator mentions on an on-going basis, giving an unprecedented level of awareness.

Membership brings four adult admissions, reserved forward parking, official programme and access to an exclusive suite for entertaining and networking, near the main arena and presentation podium.
Entry to the competition is free, but limited to one entry per business. Contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for an entry form.
