Local New Zealand eventers honoured
Three of New Zealand’s top riders who are based near Marlborough were among those honoured at the inauguration of Equestrian Sports New Zealand's Hall of Fame
Sir Mark Todd (based at Badgerstown) and Andrew Nicholson (based at Lockeridge), were joined by Blyth Tait and Vaughn Jefferis to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in front of a big crowd at the Land Rover Horse of the Year Show in Hastings.
Back-to-back CCI4* winner Jonelle Price (based near Mildenhall) was awarded Rider of the Year and her gutsy black mare Classic Moet (generally known as Molly) was named the Horse of the Year.
