Badminton '25 - early bird ticket offer closes at end of March
Badminton 2025 is nearly here, taking place in early May beytween 7 - 11th. One difference for this year - all tickets must be bought in advance as there won't be any tickets sold on the gate this year. There is the 'early bird' advance ticket discount available, but that ends on 31 March so all tickets purchased after then will be at the full price.
The five-star course will be designed again by Eric Winter and the ever popular Lemieux Grass Roots competition runs on Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th May. Winter says there have been significant changes to the course with the Lake coming earlier than it has for many years, at fence 8. With it being the year after the Olympics, it is expected that most of the top riders will be aiming to compete with their best horses. To watch a short update from Eric Winter click here.
This year’s charity is the Guide Dogs for the Blind. Jane Tuckwell, Event Director for the trials, commented: “Guide Dogs will be very familiar to visitors to the event, as they are part of Badminton every year. I’m looking forward to welcoming them as Charity of the Year in 2025, celebrating the work they do and hearing more about the wonderful working partnerships they create every day.”
Guide Dogs is also supported by world-renowned event rider William Fox-Pitt, who last year retired from five-star competition despite a copy book ride on cross country day. William will be hosting a walk around the legendary cross-country course to help raise essential funds for the charity.
