Wiltshire Show is open for entries in all classes
Back by popular demand for a second event this year
Due to popular demand, the organisers of The Wiltshire Show have agreed to hold a second show this year during the weekend of 25 and 26 September.
Following a capacity event in April, horse and pony owners are being invited to enter.
There are RIHS Qualifiers, Novice, unaffiliated horse classes, in-hand, amateur and working hunter classes.
The event has limited spectator capacity, but more than 600 entries are expected across the classes, with an anticipated 300 plus horses taking part, reflecting the interest in the April event.
“We have been extremely lucky to have a number of great sponsors to enable us to put this on again for the second time this year,” said organiser Vincent Seddon.
The show is one of the few which is not a Horse of the Year qualifying event.
“This is a deliberate move on our part,” said Vincent. “We want this event to have a family friendly atmosphere, where it is fun to compete. Its professionally organised, but enjoyable.
People come from all over to take part – the furthest we have so far is from the Isle of Wight.”
The main indoor arena will be open from 7am to provide arena familiarisation slots, each will be 30 mins in duration 7am and 7.30am. A fee of £5 per horse per session will be charged in order to cover the venue costs.
There will be working in available outdoors throughout the duration of the show also.
ENTRIES CLOSE 3rd September 2021, late entries will be accepted after this date at a premium, no entries will be accepted on the day
