Liam Adams is Corporate Partnership Manager at The Energy Check: “We are delighted to become an Official Partner of Newbury Racecourse and look forward to working with the management team to support the delivery of modern racing and first-class events. This partnership contributes to the ongoing development of our portfolio of corporate partners and the plans we have in place are extremely exciting."

"I’m really looking forward to working closely with Newbury Racecourse over the coming years to develop a mutually beneficial partnership.”

Lara Johnston is Sponsorship Manager for Newbury Racecourse: “We are delighted to be adding The Energy Check to our prestigious list of sponsors here at Newbury. The Energy Check are passionate about saving energy and delivering excellent service to their customers and we look forward to working with Liam and his team over the coming year in what will be an exciting partnership”.

With over £1.6m of savings delivered to businesses & homes in 2018, The Energy Check have a wealth of experience of working with their partners to identify energy saving opportunities. Using their experienced Energy Saving experts they will undertake an Energy audit of Newbury Racecourse that will identify savings that can be made by both simple changes to processes and culture as well as longer-term projects that integrate renewable technologies and infrastructure.

Speaking of Newbury’s environmental aspirations, Johnston added: “Given the size and constant use of the facilities provided here at the racecourse, we are committed to ensuring that we have up to date waste reduction methods and energy saving processes in place. As well as many other sustainability focused initiatives due to be implemented over the coming year, we are pleased to be critically analysing our energy usage as a priority”.

The Energy Check will also be extending their offering to those racegoers who may want to reduce their energy bills at home.
